Our candidates are in job transition or seeking to improve their current position. Candidates come to Avodah through Hosanna's outreach ministries and by referral from other churches, community, and government organizations.
AVODAH SERVICES CANDIDATE PROCESS
CANDIDATE ENROLLMENT
Candidates seeking employment through Avodah Services will complete an applications and assessment process, and agree to participate in Avodah's training and support services.
Application
Avodah Services treats candidates seeking employment with dignity and respect. Avodah reviews candidate résumés, confirms work history and checks references. Candidates are interviewed and specifically matched to job descriptions before being recommended to client companies.
Assessment
Candidates complete a series of assessments to determine the best fit for job skills and placement with client companies.
Participation Agreement
Candidates agree to participate in all Avodah Services core biblical workplace values training, and to continue with small group mentorship into the future. Additional biblical lifestyle training offered by Hosanna! may be recommended.
BIBLICAL WORKPLACE VALUES TRAINING
Avodah's biblical workplace value training is a key to personal and professional success. The training is designed to equip our candidates with workplace values, skills, and ethics. Spiritual business leaders from the Hosanna! community conduct training. Candidates learn about God and the workplace, authority, integrity, conflict resolution and responsible conduct.
CANDIDATE PLACEMENT
Candidates may be placed in various temporary or permanent employment arrangements based upon their qualifications and client company needs.
SMALL GROUP MENTORING
Enrolled candidates will be assigned to a small group for the purpose of supporting each other in workplace issues and to act as a biblical community. Mentors trained in small group leadership will be assigned to a group of 6-10 people. The goal of the small group model is higher job satisfaction and retention.
